Welcome to Freedom Elementary School!
We welcome you as a new or returning Falcon Family at Freedom Elementary for the 2025-2026 school year. Freedom Elementary School is proudly a part of District 11 and feeds into Jenkins Middle School and Doherty High School. We are very excited to have your family be a part of our Freedom family!
Freedom believes in partnering with families, students, and the community to develop opportunities for engagement in various interests. We also believe in fostering an environment that values all learning and diverse learning styles. Our goal is to have our students be excited and passionate about their futures through rigorous academic preparation.
Our school hours are 7:50 AM - 2:50 PM and Adventure Club is available for before/after-school care if needed. Falcon Club is available for after-school care. Doors open at 7:45 AM.
Our Falcons will begin exploring learning opportunities through the lens of cross-curricular experiences. Our students can explore Physical Education, Art, and General Music. In their core classes, they will be given opportunities to use various tools to show what they know in various ways.
Extracurriculars
We offer a rich array of extracurricular activities that aid students in exploring their talents and interests.
These include:

● Band (4th and 5th)
● Orchestra (4th and 5th)
● Choir (4th and 5th)
● Basketball Team (4th and 5th)
● Cross Country Running Club (K-5th)
● Battle of the Books (4th and 5th)

● Freedom Community Block Party, August 2nd from 11:00-1:00
● Meet the Teacher/Open House on Monday, August 11th (3:20-5:20 PM)
● Kindergarten Jump Start Tuesday, August 12th (7:50am-2:50pm)
- First Day of School Wednesday, August 13th, for 1st-5th Grades
● Pre-K First Day of School August 14th
